Timmonsville, SC – Elbert O. Geddings, Jr. 60, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 17, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. before the service.  Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery, Timmonsville.

Mr. Geddings was born in Florence County, the son of the late Elbert O., Sr and Edna Mae Broach Geddings.  He was a long distance truck driver.

Surviving are a son, Elbert O. (Rebecca) Geddings, III; daughter, Sheila Geddings; sisters, Jean King and Janice Weaver; six grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Jordan.
