Mr. Edward "Allen" Strickland, Jr., 64, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2026.

Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of the late Edward Allen Strickland, Sr. and the late Daphine Chapman Strickland. He was a big Clemson fan and had an even bigger personality with a silver tongue. He loved God with all his heart. He also loved people and brought light into so many lives.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Carlisle Strickland; sons, Edward Allen "Trey" Strickland, III, Casey Ray Strickland; daughter, Tanya Sharie Strickland; brother, Barry Strickland (Athena); sisters, Sandra Tweed, Beverly Fagan, Edna Conley (Dennis); grandchildren, Leah Duke, Emma Duke, T.C. Greene, Tytus Greene, Ivy Strickland.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 15, 2026 in Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will greet friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. before the service.
