Florence, SC – Edward E. Hardee, 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Hardee was born in Horry County, the son of the late George F. and Lillian Carter Hardee.  He served in the US ARMY.  Edward worked was a Lineman with AT&T before retiring.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Melvena Willis Hardee; daughter, Karen Frazier; son, Richard (Sally) Hardee; brother, Roger Wesley Hardee; sisters, Elizabeth Rauch, Althea King, Diane (Eddie) Smith; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd, Cecil and George Hardee.
