Earl Junior Knotts, 63 passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 suddenly in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Knotts was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Lucille Knotts.  He attended Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Timmonsville.  He was a special person in the Timmonsville area helping many with handyman jobs.

Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Mildred "Millie" McMullen Knotts; three sisters, Mary Knotts, Emma Knotts, Ida Skidmore; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by two brothers, George and James Wesley Knotts and a sister, Marilyn Knotts.
