Earl C Andrews

Florence, SC – Earl C Andrews, 85, passed away at the Hospice House on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Timmonsville. A time of visitation will be Thursday,  July 25, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Earl was born in Darlington County, the son of the late Lawrence Coker Andrews and Mary Ella Bryant Benton.  He worked with the City of Florence as a Utility Manager before retiring.  Earl served his country in the US Army.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Mary Esther Tolson Andrews; three sons, David (Wanda) Andrews, Mark (Debbie) Andrews, Carl (Naomi) Andrews; brother, Bill (Mary) Andrews; ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Angela Sycamore and sister-in-law, Florrie Andrews.  He is preceded in death by a son, Paul Andrews and a brother, Jackie Andrews.
