Darlington - Douglas James "Dougie" Guynn, 35, died at his residence May 17, 2016.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday evening May 20, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

He is survived by wife, Melissa Watkins Guynn; his mother, Sandy (Marion, Jr.) Broach, Timmonsville; his father, Douglas Dean (Mary) Guynn, Florence; his 95 year old grandparents, Rachie and James E. Guynn, Wytheville, VA; and several aunts and cousins. Dougie was bornin Sumter, SC, and was taken care of by his special adopted grandparents, Virginia Graham and the late Ralph Graham. He is preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Guynn.

Dougie worked for his parents at Doug's Harley Davidson in Florence until their retirement, and shared a love of motorcycles with them. He loved to play golf. He had a special place in his heart for stray dogs. He rescued several and found homes for them.
