Timmonsville, SC – Dorothy H.Weinberg Gardner,83,died at her residence on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Dorothy was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Glenn Carl and Eva Louise Powers Hatchell. She retired from Dixie Cup of Darlington.She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church.

Dorothy was first married to the late Milford Weinberg and then to Jack Gardner.

Surviving are a son; Milford Ray (Susan) Weinberg,Jr, Darlington; a daughter, Deborah W. Godwin, Timmonsville; brother, G. C. (Diann) Hatchell, Timmonsville, SC; sister, Gloria (James) Campbell, Lamar, SC; grandchildren, Donna ("Bear") Rose, W.K. (Barbi) Lee, Dotty (Albert) Windham, Ginger (Mike) Gainey, Ron (LeAnn) Carnes, Crystal Amber Carnes, Dawn Haynes,Suzie Lane and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Carnes, sister, Jennie Rae Kelly, a brother,Dan R. Hatchell and sons-in-law, Ronnie Carnes and Charles "Chuck" Godwin.
