Timmonsville, SC- Dorothy Thornbrew Floyd, 87, passed away on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will have a time of visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Dorothy was born in Florence County, the daughter of George Allard and Lula Belle Kirby Thornbrew.  She was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church. She was involved in many of the activities  of the church.   She worked in the Public School system as a secretary for many years.

She was married to the late Clark Floyd until his death in 2014.

Surviving are two sons, Don (Debbie) Floyd, James (Linda) Floyd; a daughter, Donna (Seth) Smith; a brother, Thomas Thornbrew and nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
