Florence, SC – Dorothy Mae "Dot" McCormick Caulder, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. before the service.

"Dot" was born in Hamer, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Willard Arthur McCormick and Florence Mae Herring McCormick.  She was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting and spending time with her family.  Before retiring she was employed with Southern Bell Telephone as a Customer Service Rep, working as a Telephone Operator and in others areas of the phone company.

Surviving are two sons, Luther "LG" (Jenny) Caulder, III, John Caulder; three daughters, Beverly (Michael) Phillips, Lillian Anne (Tom) Dexter, Julia (Joseph) Nevlin; brother, Dixon (Emily) McCormick, ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Hudson and a sister, Vivian Pittman.
