Donna Evans Flynn, 77, passed   away at her residence on Dec. 24, 2024.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December, 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Florence.  Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and family at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Donna Flynn was born in Sumter, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Charles and Jean Howard Evans.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years William "Bill" Flynn; daughter, Jeanne Anne (Dale) Watson, sister, Nan (Daniel) Rowland; her grandchildren, Sydney C. (Marshall) Paulk, Flynn (Emily) Senseney, Sam Senseney, 2nd Lt Braxton (Lauren) Copleston, Jack Senseney; also blessed with 3 great granddaughters.  Donna is preceded in death by her sister Joyce ( Jimmy ) Logan and a daughter, Susan Flynn.Donna graduated from Edmunds High School in Sumter SC, class of  1965. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and loyal to the Sarah Blanton Sunday school class.  She was active in Cooks for Christ, Courtney Graham Bible study, My Brothers Keeper & Christian Women's Circle.  One of her favorite pass times was relaxing in their condo in Garden City with Bill and the grandkids.  She was passionate about gatherings with friends, playing games with family or anything that involved cooking, cleaning and her grandchildren. She will be missed by her husband, family and friends - especially at Christmas.  We can only imagine her joy of waking on Christmas morning in Heaven  - where it's Christmas everyday!
