Dolores Register Hanna, 80, entered into rest on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Born in Timmonsville SC, she was a daughter of the late D. L. and Lucille Howell Register. She was the widow of Bobby Hanna.

Dolores graduated from Timmonsville High School. She was a Pharmacy Technician with The Medicine Mart in Florence for over 40 years. She and her husband also operated Bobby’s Grocery in Timmonsville and Bobby’s Neighborhood Grocery in Florence for many years. She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Dolores was a simple lady who enjoyed cooking and the comforts of home. During the final years of her life, she resided at Pee Dee Gardens, where she loved the staff and her fellow residents, especially her caregiver, Kim. Her great-granddaughter, Hanna Kate, was the apple of her eye.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Griffin (Gregg); granddaughter, Reghann Driggers (Bailey); great-granddaughter, Hanna Kate; sisters, Joye Burns (Travis), Wanda Bacote (Chuck Small), DeeAnn Christmas (Mike Gandy); brothers, Marc Register (Wendy), Toby Register (Stephanie); step-son, Randy Hanna (Kathy); step-grandchildren, Jeff Hanna, Megan Hanna; step-great-grandchildren, Caleb and Alyssa.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daryle Register; step-children, Robbie Hanna and Jeff Whitherspoon.

The family will receive friends at the Griffin residence. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
