Lynchburg, SC – Dianne Dorriety Nesbitt, 72, died in the McLeod Hospice House on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 .

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home, and at other times, at the home of Jay and Sheila Jordan, 10845 Lynches River Road, Lynchburg, SC.

Dianne was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Victor and Thelma Floyd Dorriety. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Nesbitt was the Vice President of Nesbitt Transportation Company.

Surviving are; her husband, Robert "Robbie" Nesbitt, Lynchburg; son, Tim (Melissa) Nesbitt; daughter, Sheila (Jay) Jordan all of Lynchburg; four brothers, Ronnie (Annette) Dorriety, Dennis (Kathy) Dorriety all of Timmonsville, Charles (Linda) Dorriety, Lamar, Wayne (Cheryl) Dorriety, Timmonsville; two sisters, Faye McElveen, Florence, Cindy Dorriety, Timmonsville and two grandchildren, Chandler Elle Jordan, and Cameron Nesbitt Jordan. She is preceded in death by a sister, Paula and brother, Steve.
