On Sunday, July 27, 2025 David Andy Thomas left this earthly home and went to his heavenly home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday July 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Effingham Church of God.  Burial will follow in Turner Cemetery in Effingham, S.C.  The family will receive family and friends at the church beginning at 12:00 p.m. before the service.

Mr. Thomas was born Mullins, SC, the son of the late Nathaniel Jefferson, Jr and Jessie Margaret Walker Thomas.  He served his country in Vietnam Conflict, Desert Storm and time in the National Guard.  He attended Effingham Church of God.   Before retiring, Andy provided Mechanic service on automobiles and anything that had an engine that required repairs and maintenance.  Other interest were Pee Dee Street Rodders, he was a "Die hard Carolina Fan", loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Marie Turner Thomas.

Surviving are his daughter and her husband, Sabrina and Dean Lantz; grandchildren, Nolan Timmons, Austin Lantz, Zackareah (Brittany) Timmons, Great grandchildren Bentley Timmons, Nova Timmons, Aulbree-Grace Timmons; his brother, Paul (Debbie) Thomas and his Special Nurses Aid, Summer Daves.

The family would like to request that everyone wear Patriotic colors or Carolina Gamecock colors.
