Effingham, SC – David L. McLeod, Jr. 79, passed away on Tuesday, February  2, 2021.

Mr. McLeod was born in Florence County, the son of David, Sr. and Joberta Bristow McLeod.  He worked as a store manager for Anderson Oil Company for many years.  David was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Timmonsville.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Deloris Jackson McLeod;  four sons, David McLeod, III, Mark (Vanessa) McLeod, Brad Law, Derri Harrison; three daughters, Hope Taylor, Shanna Harrison, DeVita McLeod; two sisters, Eulalia (Irvin) Charles, Dianne Josey; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Georgia M. Bass and Gil (Hodges) McLeod.
