Ridgeway, SC- Darlene Mae Mixon, 79, passed away in a Kershaw Hospital on Thursday, June 29, 2017.

A graveside service will be Monday, July 3, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the Lake Swamp Baptist Cemetery, Timmonsville, SC.

Mrs. Mixon was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Elva Atchison Kern.

Surviving are her husband of thirty-eight years, John Henry Mixon; daughter, Lennis Alford and her husband, Frank of Timmonsville; two grandchildren, Jessica and Josh Griggs and her friends of twenty years, Cathy and Harvey James.

Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto Street, Florence is assisting the family with arrangements.
