Florence, SC – On Sunday, July 26, 2020, Darlene M. Edwards passed away from natural causes after an extended illness.

Darlene was born in Wyandotte, Michigan.  She grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State University. She married Art Edwards in November 1974, moved to Florence, SC in 1984 and together they had many fun experiences.  They loved to  travel in their RV (including a trip to Alaska), watch Atlanta Braves baseball, fish (ocean and freshwater), and hosted many wonderful BBQs and celebrations.  Darlene  had a great sense of humor and loved her family and friends.

Darlene leaves her son, Robert Edwards (Dibbe); sister, Sheryl Martin (Tom), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her dear friend and caretaker, Ellen Lee, who was by her side in her final moments.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Art Edwards, her brother, Bobby Hesburn and her parents, Earl Hesburn and Jean Beliski.

The family wishes to say a special "Thank You" to Ellen Lee for her dedication to both Darlene and Art for the last 10 years.

There will be a private graveside service at Florence Memorial Gardens.
