Darian Roy McWhite, 84, passed away peacefully on February 23,2025 after a long illness.

Darian is survived by his wife, Linda Gray McWhite; his three children, Beth (Hampton) Snowden, Karian (Johnny) Griggs, Kris McWhite; his grandchildren, Sam (Katherine) Snowden, John (Lauren) Snowden, Kara (Dennis) Nutter, Karlyn Griggs, Katherine Griggs; five great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Harry Bonnoitt.  He is predeceased in death by his parents, Charlie E. McWhite and Ollie Mae Turner McWhite, and sister, Jean McWhite Bonnoitt.

Darian was born in Florence County on July 18,1940.  He graduated from Pamplico High School and was a member of Pamplico First Baptist Church.  He owned McWhite Service Station for many years.  He loved his family, and he loved the town of Pamplico.  He enjoyed giving back to his community, bream fishing and quail hunting.

Visitation will be held at Pamplico First Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 4:00 p.m.
