Effingham, SC –Danny L. Boan, 47, died at the Hospice House on Thursday, June 25, 2015 after a long illness.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Danny was born in Hartsville, SC, the son of James Calvin Boan and Illa Mae Cox. He was a Supervisor with East Coast TVM Aluminum Fabrication Company. He attended Abundunt Life Church.

Surviving are his special companion, Crystal L. Snowden, Florence; a son, Jeffrey P. Boan (Chelsea Berry),Effingham, step-son, Jonathan K. Harrell, Florence; step-daughter, Morgan Snowden (Chad)Rabon, Aynor; a brother, Anthony Boan, Hartsville; two sisters, Lisa Boan Carroll (David Ryals), Darlington, Amber Boan (Mike Hopkins). Hartsville; two grandchildren, Blake Rabon and Bayler Rabon and a special caregiver and great aunt, Betty Coxe.
