Florence, SC – Andrew Daniel McKenzie, 38, went home to be with his Lord at home with his parents on Monday, June 6, 2022.

He had been in declining health but, his death was unexpected.  Daniel was a gentle and kind hearted soul who loved his family.  He was a devoted Gamecock fan.  He was self -employed as a HVAC maintenance technician for his family's business.  He was a graduate of Maranatha Christian School.  Daniel received his HVAC Certification from Florence-Darlington Tech.  One of Daniel's greatest joys was to sit with family and friends to talk about the adventures of his family.

Surviving are his daughter, Carolina McKenzie of Florence; his parents, Wanda and Dean McKenzie of Florence.   He also had a large extended family in Florence and Sumter who cherish fond memories of him.  Daniel is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Andrew Lloyd and Louise Bradley Goff, paternal grandparents, Eugene Daniel McKenzie and Earlee Suggs McKenzie, as well as several aunts and uncles who were very special to him.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens, 3320 S. Cashua Dr., Florence.  To honor Daniel's life, Rev. Paul Goff of Wedgefield, SC will officiate the service.
