Cindy Bell Welch, 48, of Timmonsville, passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2025 at her residence.

Graveside services will be Monday, April 21, 2025 at Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Church.

Cindy was born in Florence County, the daughter of Guy and Betsy" Rita" Poston Bell. She was a 1994 graduate of Lamar High School and attended FMU and Florence-Darlington Tec. She worked at MUSC Florence as an Insurance Coder.  Cindy was a member of Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking as well as spending time outside birdwatching and feeding their many Peacocks.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Jerry Welch; son, Bill Carter Welch; brother, Gary (Saundra) Bell; sisters-in-law, Maria Welch, Angela Smith; Aunts and Uncles, Cathy Teague, Angie (Bruce) Holdorf.   Cindy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Felder and Jessie Mae Poston, Mildred and Hennice Bell; mother and father-in-law, Coit and Nancy Welch.  Cindys greatest accomplishment in life was being Bills mom.  She loved him with all of her heart.
