Timmonsville- Cordelia Kirby Dorrell- 85,died at her residence on December 20, 2015.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Cemetery Timmonsville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cordelia was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Ralph and Hattie Langston Kirby. She was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church and the Hattie Kirby Circle.

She was married to the late Rembert A. Dorrell.

Surviving are a daughter, Ann Singletary, Timmonsville; three sisters, Bonnie (Lavern) Mixon, Timmonsville, Motie Coleman, Valeria Mims both of Florence; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, Rembert Dorrell and Marshall Dorrell.
