Florence, SC - Connor Allen Stokes (Dorrell) , 22 , tragically passed away Sept 3, 2023. We find peace knowing that Jesus was waiting with open arms. We believe he has not died but began living in that moment with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Sept 9, 2023, at High Noon (12:00) at the Church at Sandhurst, 1140 3rd Loop Road, Florence, SC. The family will receive visitors from 10:30-12:00 before the service at the Church.  A private burial will take place at Bethany Cemetery, Timmonsville.

Connor was the son of Krista and Chris Dorrell and Tommy and Caroline Stokes. He was a graduate of Florence Christian School and Francis Marion College, with a degree in Business Finance. Connor was employed at King Cadillac as an Assistant to the Comptroller. He had a passion for witnessing and physical fitness. Due to his contagious smile and personality being Connors friend you knew he had your back.

Surviving: Connor was blessed to have 4 parents. Krista and Chris Dorrell and Tommy and Caroline Stokes. Brother Christopher Dorrell, Jr., sisters Brylee Stokes, Haley (Brandon) Thomas, Madison Dorrell; maternal grandparents Edwin and Jeanie Hanks, paternal grandfather Clyde Stokes and Marty and Annette Martin. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles; Klay Ross, Kortney Denton (John), Jewell Langston (Chris), Sherry Byrd, Lisa Best (Robbie), Andy Martin (Lynn); and many cousins. Connor is preceded in death by grandparents; Olin Edgar Dorrell, Jr and Patricia Dorrell, Jean Stokes, Juliette Pleasant and cousins, Patricia Ann Langston "Patti" and Kyle Best.
