Cleta Joyce Harrelson, 83, left this earthly home on Friday morning, March 28, 2025.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Tranquil Methodist Church Cemetery, 3001 Collins Road, Mullins, SC.

Mrs. Harrelson was born in McRae, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Martin and Gladys Robison Vinson.   Cleta was a member of the West Florence Jehova Witness Congregation.  She worked at the Feed  Store in Sumter for many years.  Cleta was the manager/owner of a Ladies Dress Shop in the Florence Mall for several years before retiring.

Surviving are her loving husband of 64 years, Charles L. Harrelson; son, Charles A. Harrelson; daughter, Sara (James) Van Dyke; and a sister, Anita Miller.
