Florence, SC- Clell Dixon Anderson, 99, formerly of Timmonsville, passed into her Heavenly home on Wednesday, Dec.7, 2022.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  There will be a time for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. before the service at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Byrd Cemetery, Timmonsville, SC.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Anacoco, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Guy and Ellen Pantalion.  She attended North Western University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Clell had this contagious laugh that made everyone feel good.  She was a good cook and seamstress.

She was married to the late Charles Anderson.

Surviving are her daughter, Virginia A. Hopkins; her loving grandchildren, Christine Hopkins (Michael) Blanton, Dixon Anderson (Robin) Hopkins and a great-grandson, Bennett M. Blanton.
