Obituary

Charlie Rabon – On Thursday, March 13th, 2025, Charlie Henry Rabon Sr, 82, finished his work here on earth and is now rejoicing with the Lord in his Heavenly home.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 17th, 2025 inside the mausoleum at Florence Memorial Gardens. Services will start at 3:00 p.m. with Graveside service to follow. The family will speak to those attending after the services.

You are invited to visit at other times at the family's home in Timmonsville.

Mr. Rabon was born in Lee County, the son of the late Charlie Joseph Rabon and Vermelle Watson Rabon Hair. He was a devoted member of Piney Grove Church of God of Prophecy, Timmonsville. He was a man of many words but each one was spoke with great meaning and he never met a stranger. He was a dedicated pastor mentor and servant of his Lord, Jesus Christ. He always put God first everyday of his life and lived his life as an example. Charlie retired from Santee Print in Sumter and was known for his love of hunting and fishing, along with working on small engines. Though nothing was more important to him than the Lord and his family.

Surviving are; His three sons, Charlie "Henry" (Tammy) Rabon, Jr., Raymond "Tony" (Loretta) Rabon, Joseph Tillman "Joe" (Holly) Rabon; daughter, Alice Faye Rabon; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years Barbara Ann Mixon Rabon, brother, Cecil A. Rabon and sister Victoria "Vic" Rabon Coker.
