Florence, SC – Charlie N. Cooke, 76, passed away on Jan. 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Palmetto Street Church of God.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the church before the service.  Social distancing will be observed, please wear your mask.

Mr. Cooke was born in Florence County, the son of the late Charlie Bleauford and Pearl Hanna Cooke.  He was the owner of Cooke's Garage and worked for many years as a Mechanic.  Charlie was a member of Palmetto Street Church of God.  He loved traveling, especially going on Cruises.  In his younger years, he enjoyed fast cars. NASCAR was a favorite past-time, he was a Dale Earnhart fan.  Bowling was another interest and past-time of his.

Charlie was married to the late Daisy Bryant Cooke.

Surviving are a son, Edward "Earl" (Lisa) Cooke; daughters, Debbie (Randy) Tanner, Jenny (Paul) Starling; three brothers, Randy Cook, David Cooke, Dale Cooke; sister, Betty Ard; six grandchildren, Stephen Cooke, Aaron Cooke, Luke (Jill) Tanner, Charlie (Heather) Tanner, Tommy (Kate) Starling, Danny Starling and four great-grandchildren, Carter-Grace Tanner, Brice Tanner, Avin Knotts, Landen Shirer.
