Charles Spencer Strother, 83, went to his heavenly home on April 16, 2026, after an illness.

Born in the Sardis Community of Florence County, Charles was born to the late Curtis and Miriam Hatchell Strother. He was a family man, married to Victoria "Vicki" Carter Strother for more than 60 years. Charles worked as a Plant Manager for Bell South until his retirement. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He was a devoted husband to his wife and an amazing father to his two daughters. He adored his grand children and great grands. His love for his family was unending.

Surviving are his wife, Vicki of Florence; two daughters, Sherri (Kevin) Kenyon, Kimberly Collins; two brothers, David Strother, Ronnie Strother; two sisters, Anna Strother Everheart, Sabra Faye Strother Rabon and his precious grandchildren, Spencer, Joshua, Conner, Hunter, Bailey and his great grandchildren, Ashton, Keller, Caiden, Lilah, Dylan, Luke and Haiden.

A service remembering a life well lived will be Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. before the service at the church. A private burial will take place at Florence Memorial Gardens.
