Timmonsville, SC – Charles Woodrow Morris, Jr,78, answered God's call to come home March 1,2016.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00 in the Church Fellowship Hall,prior to the service.

Mr. Morris was born in Timmonsville, SC, the son of the late Charles Woodrow, Sr.,and Annie Lee Bell Morris. Until his retirement in 2002, Charlie was an auto rebuilder and painter for 48 years.Charlie enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, golfing, skiing and flying airplanes. He received his pilot license at age 16. He was a member of the Klickitat County Sheriff's Air Patrol in Washington State and the civil air Patrol in South Carolina. In 1961,he married Anne Honour and they moved to the west coast. While out west,they became the parents of four daughters. In 1976, Charlie and Anne became members of the First Freewill Baptist Church, accepting Jesus' gift of salvation and began serving the LORD through a bus ministry, visitations,Sunday School and the choir. At his death they were members of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife, Anne of Timmonsville and their four daughters, Jackie (Mark) Olsen, Timmonsville,Julie Morris, Timmonsville,Jill Fishback and Jan'el Morris both of Oregon; four grandsons,Nyk Ladage,Chris Ladage,Tyler Fishback,Spencer Fishback all of Oregon, one granddaughter, Anne Marie Olsen, Timmonsville; one great grandson, Charlie Lucas Ladage. He is preceded in death by sisters, Priscilla Ham, Walta Mae Hopkins,Bobbie Mitchell,Francis Buie, Jannie Alexander,a niece-Theresa Goode,his special aunt-Myrtle Belle Anderson.
