Cary was a beloved member of the Lynchburg community whose life was marked by faith, love, and unwavering dedication to his family. He was the cherished husband of Jan Logan, his faithful companion and the love of his life for over 52 years. Together, they built a legacy of love, devotion, and Christian faith that continues to live on through their children and grandchildren.
A man of deep faith, Cary was a long-time and active member of Lynchburg First Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a deacon. His greatest joy was ensuring his family knew Christ and lived according to God's Word—a legacy he instilled in his children and grandchildren.
Cary proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Farmers Telephone Cooperative after 35 years of dedicated service, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty.
An avid outdoorsman, Cary spent countless joyful hours hunting, fishing, and teaching his loved ones the value of nature, patience, and tradition. He was also a proud member of Sportsman's Hunt Club where he enjoyed fellowship and time in the outdoors.
Cary will be remembered for his kind heart, strong faith, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the values he lived by every day.
He leaves behind a family who adored him: his wife Jan; daughter Kelli McGregor (Josh); son Cary (Casey) Logan, Jr. (Kristin); and four grandsons who were the light of his life—Jackson McGregor, Logan McGregor, Hunter Logan, and Connor Logan; he is also survived by brothers, Michael (Jean) Logan, Neal Logan and several nieces and nephews. Cary was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Edna Logan; his sister, Sharon Griffith; and his brother, Mark Logan.
