Carroll J. Hanna

Florence, SC – Carroll J. Hanna, 89, passed away May 16, 2019.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 20, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation after the service.  Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.

Carroll was born in Florence County, the son of the late Zoula A. and Sarah Flowers Hanna.  He worked in the shipping and receiving department of Nucor Steel.

He was married to the late Vivian Kennedy Hanna.

Surviving are six sisters, Uldine Barnette, Audrey Coker, Faye Smith, Zulane Anderson, Rose Perkins, Deborah Robinson and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by four brothers, Robert "Pee Wee" Hanna, Laurie Hanna, Cecil Hanna, Eugene Hanna   and a sister, Jeannie Spears,
