Florence, SC – Carrie Gaymon Altman, 82, passed away on Oct. 26, 2018 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Strickland-Feagin Cemetery near Lake City.  The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral Home.

Carrie was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Floyd Gaymon. She was a member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy.  Carrie retired from Laz-y Boy Mfg with twenty-five years of service.

She was married to the late Don Altman.

Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Parfitt, Donna Bonnoitt; a sister, Alma Laura Tedder; four grandchildren, Donnie Ray Allen, Summer (Kevin) Creel, Tiffany (Greg) Fishel, Brent Bonnoitt, Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Dylan and Gracie Creel, Connar Fishel, Mikayla Fishel and Logan Fishel.
