Carolyn Frances Altrip French, 81 ,entered into rest on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Born in Grand Rapids MI, she was daughter of the late Claude Preston Artlip and the late Mildred Lucille Passmore Artlip.

Carolyn graduated from South High School, Grand Rapids, MI, Class of 1962. She had a profound love for animals especially horses and her German Shepherds.

Surviving are her sisters, Mary Wu of Kentwood, MI, Judith Ann Benoit of Big Rapids, MI; brothers, Robert Artlip of Elgin, SC, George Artlip of Elgin, SC, Bert Artlip, Ruffin, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Sally Snyder, Lillian Engevertsen, Ted Artlip, Richard John Artlip, Roger James Artlip.
