Carolyn Collins Bailey, 76, went to sleep in her earthly surrounding on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025 and woke up in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will greet family and friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 before the service at Florence Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Marion County, the daughter of the late French and Kizzie Prescott Collins.  She was an active and dedicated member of Northgate Baptist Church.

She was a beacon of light, shining for her Jesus.  Her smile was contagious, encouraging others, loving everyone and always happy.  Carolyn was a collector of cookbooks.  She loved to cook and try new recipes.  Her family was her pride and joy sharing time and special occasions with them.  Bird watching was one of her passions.

Surviving are; her husband of 58 years, Philip M. Bailey; two sons, Philip M. (Hope) Bailey, Jr, Patrick V. Bailey; brother, Tony Glen (Janet) Collins; two grandchildren, Dalton P. Bailey, Lauren Marie Bailey and a host of nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Collins and sister, Bonnie Clardy.
