Florence, SC – Carol Smith Kingsbury, 90, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  A private entombment will be Monday, Feb 7, 2022.

Carol was born in Fremont, NC the daughter of the late John Thomas and Susan Smith.  She attended Atlantic Christian University.

Carol was married to the late Philip C Kingsbury.

Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Dan) Garrison, Jane (Mark) Laug; and her grandchildren, Rachel (Quincy) Belk, Daniel (Kaitlyn Felkel) Garrison, Casey and Carson Jordan.
