June 20, 1964 - February 2, 2026

Carlos F. Velázquez will be remembered as a loving, generous, and hospitable husband, father, son, and brother. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, always opening his home and heart to family, friends, and anyone in need. Carlos's kindness, steady presence, and deep devotion to those he loved created a legacy that will live on in the many lives he touched. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie; his son, Jonathan; his parents, Carlos and Ofelia; his siblings, Jorge and Millie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends whose lives were brighter because of him. We eagerly await to receive him again in the future resurrection promised to mankind by Jehovah God in his inspired word the Bible:

"He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe awaythe tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it." - Isaiah 25:8

"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…" - John 5:28,29.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Florence Center (3300 W Radio Dr, Florence, SC 29501) on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
