Carl F. Green

Florence- Carl Frost Green, 69 , died in a local hospital Dec. 25, 2014 after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday,Dec. 30, 2014 at 12:30 p.m.at Florence BibleChapel.Interment will follow at Florence National Cemetery.

Visitation will beMonday,Dec. 29, 2014 from 6 to 8:00p.m. at Layton-AndersonFuneral Home.

Mr. Green was born in Florence County, the son of the late Robert Pauland Eula Frost Green. Mr. Green served his country in the U S Air Force during the Vietnam era. He received a bachelor's degree from Francis Marion Universityin Engineering.Carl retired from General Electric in the Quality ControlDivision. His present job was with Triad Isotope.He delivered nuclear medicine to area Doctorsand Hospitals.He was a member of Florence Bible Chapel.

Surviving are his wife of Florence, Betty Montrose Green; a son, Carl Martin ( Shannon) Green, Florence; twodaughters, Jenny G. Ovadia, New York ,Amy G. (Chad) Harrell, Florence; a brother, Robert Paul (Doris) Green,Jr. Charlotte, NC; a sister, Jean (Gene) Gilbert, Lamar; and four grandchildren, Gabe Green, Gavin Green,Audrey Aguilar and Emma Kate Green.
