Florence- Carl Henry Carter, 72, passed away in a local Hospital on Thursday,Feb. 12, 2015 after an illness.

Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will speak to visitors after the service. Entombment will follow the service.

Mr. Carter was born in Marion, SC, the son of the late Atticus H. and Leona McCoy Carter. He served his country in the US Army. Carl was the owner of a Sports Shop before retiring.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Jeannine Edwige Carter, Florence; a son, Vincent (Allyson)Carter, Florence; a daughter, Brigitte Carter, Sumter and three grandchildren, Tyler Carter,Sydney Carter and Rhegan Carter.
