Timmonsville, SC – Jay "Calvin" Curry, 56, passed away on Thursday, Sept 2, 2021.

A memorial service will be announced for a later time.

Calvin was the son of  the late J.C. and Lubbie Matthews Curry.  He lived all of his life in the Sardis Community of Florence County.  He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.   Following NASCAR racing was a favorite hobby.  Calvin had a special love for his fur babies.

He was married to the love of his life Velma "Sissy" Grady Curry for 25 years.

Other surviving family members are sisters that spoiled him as the only brother, Marie Priest, Jeanette (Lee) Alexander, Sharon Boykin, Kathleen (Windell) Griggs and many loving nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by sisters, Patricia and Judy Curry.
