Florence - Brian Keith Cottingham, 28, died suddenly on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today (Monday) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cottingham was born in Florence, he was the son of Donna Hunsinger Turner and Michael Cottingham. He was employed with Security management with Duke Energy. He was serving in the US Army Reserve.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Donna and Scott Turner, his father and step-mother, Michael and Margaret Cottingham; a daughter, Madyson Cottingham and her mother, Jennifer Parker; brother, Kevin Cottingham and a sister, Taylor Turner (Matt) Brown.
