Florence, SC – Bobby Joe Lewellyn, 45, husband of Amy Powers Lewellyn, passed away on June 30, 2019.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Byrd Cemetery.  The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.

Bobby Joe was born in Florence County, the son of Jeanette Cook Lewellyn and the late Charlie J. Lewellyn.  He worked as a machinist at Sims Machine Shop in Sardis.

Surviving are his wife of 24  years, Amy Powers Lewellyn; sons, Tristan Lewellyn,  Logan Lewellyn; a brother, Kevin Lewellyn, a sister, Kim (Josh) Courtway and many nieces and nephews.
