Timmonsville, SC – Bobby Allen Hanna, 78, died on Wednesday May 17, 2017.

A memorial service will be Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Bobby was born in Williamsburg County, the son of the late Ervin and Leperlis Godwin Hanna. Bobby served his country in the US Air Force. He was the owner/operator of Bobby's Grocery Store in Timmonsville.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Dolores Register Hanna of Darlington; a son, Randy (Kathy) Hanna, Summerville, SC; daughter, Sheila (Gregg) Griffin, Darlington, SC; brothers, Rev. Earl (Bernice) Hanna, Florence, Clifford (Jean) Hanna, Charleston, Herman "Bunn" (Eleveen) Hanna, Pamplico, Billy (Beverly) Hanna, Albany, GA; grandchildren, Bobby, Nicki, Travis,Jeff, Megan and Reghann and one great-grandchild, Caleb.. He is preceded in death by two sons, Jeff and Robbie Hanna; three sisters, Marie Stone, Mae Poston, Janie Poston, one brother, Bill Hanna.
