Obituary

Effingham, SC - Bobby Broach, 83, passed away on Wednesday, Jan 6, 2021.

A graveside service will be Sunday, Jan 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will speak to everyone after the service at the cemetery.  You are ask to wear a mask and observe social distancing.  You are invited to visit the Funeral Home during regular business hours to sign the guestbook.

Mr. Broach was born in Florence County, the son of the late E. W. "Doc" Broach and the late Gertrude Elizabeth Jordan Broach.  Bobby was a member of Piney Grove Church of God of Prophecy, Effingham, SC.  He installed Sheet Metal Buildings  until he retired.  He also worked with McCall Farms until he retired again after an accident in 1984.  He loved spending time with his family, his tractors and fishing.

He was married to the late Lois Lupo Broach.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann B. Blackwell; two brothers, Paul Broach, Sr,  E.W. Broach, Jr; two sisters, Shelby Jean Wilkins, Natalie DuBose; grandson, Jamie D. (Joanne) Driggers; two great-grandsons, Christian "Ty" Driggers, Jonathan "JD" Driggers; great grandchild, Cheyenne Driggers; a very special nephew, who was more like a son, Lavone (Christi) Conner; his special little girl from church, Kylie DuBose,  and adopted son, Jimmie Morris and adopted daughter, Becky Driggers.  He is preceded in death by two brothers, Allen "Buddy" Broach, Noah Broach and two sisters, Ruth Mack and Edith Owens, and a special friend, Josephine Brown.
