Timmonsville, SC – Robert Marvin "Bob"  Drew, 83, went to be with his LORD on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Services Honoring Bob Drew will be Monday, May 8, 2023. Beginning with visitation at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church with funeral services at 12:00 noon. Military Honor Guard graveside service will follow in the church cemetery.

Bob was born in Mullins, South Carolina, the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Drew and the late, Verna Mae Altman Drew.  Bob was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher and also he was a part of the musical support team. He was a Licensed Layman to preach the Gospel. He served his country in the US Air Force and retired with over 23 years of service.  He also worked with the US Postal Service.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Carol Jean Gifford Drew; son, Thomas W. "Tommy" (Kimberly) Drew; two sisters, Lynn Drew (Bill) Kennedy and Pam (Rick) Siegrist; three grandchildren, Ryan Albert (Tiffany) Drew, Justin Aaron ( Liz) Drew, and Thomas Joseph Drew; five great-grandchildren, Ally, Joy "Peanut",  Tommy, Waylon and Justin.
