Lynchburg, SC - Billy Ray Johnson, 59, died on June 2, 2017.

A celebration service will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Center in the Trinity Community of Lynchburg, SC.

Mr. Johnson was born in Richland County, the son of the late Wesley and Lillian Baxley Johnson. He did roofing installation and carpentry work on residential construction. He loved his family, getting together with family and friends and sporting events.

Surviving are his wife of Lynchburg, Martha Floyd; a son, Kevin (B.J.) Johnson, Timmonsville; daughter, Jennifer Johnson, Lynchburg; brothers, Gerald (Dianne) Johnson, Wesley, Jr, (Bobbie) Johnson, Tony (Sandra) Johnson all of Florence; brothers-in-law, William(Cherie) Floyd, Leon(Lisa) Floyd and Danny Floyd; sisters, Libby McCutcheon, Bobbie (Charles) Critcher, Wendy Bryant all of Effingham; grandson, Chris Johnson; mother-in-law, Elsie Floyd; a special niece, Anna Margaret Floyd, and his canine companion, "Jackie".
