Coward- Billie Anne Anderson Hicks, 73, died in a Florence hospital Monday, August 29, 2016 after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Timmonsville. The family will speak to those attending the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Hicks was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late William and Lorene Anderson. She was a member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church, Coward. Billie Anne was a retired machine operator with Wellman Industries before retiring.

Surviving are her husband of 15 years James W. "Jimmy" Hicks, Coward; her children, Dennis and Tracie Hicks, Brian and Angela Hicks, grandchildren, Ellie and Grayson Hicks, Jackson and Owen Hicks; a brother, Carroll C. (Frances) Anderson, Coward and many nieces and nephews.
