Blackville, SC- Betty Jean Lane Tyndall, 86, formerly of Florence, died in a hospice facility on Monday, April 24, 2017.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will speak to visitors beginning at 1:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Betty was born in Latta, SC, the daughter of the late Mack and Fammie Lane.

She was married to the late Douglas Nash Tyndall, Sr.

Surviving are; a son, Douglas Tyndall, Jr, Florence; two daughters, Debra (James)Watford, Margaret Clark all of Darlington; grandchildren, Anna, Angel, Amy, Lisa, Phil, Eric, Brad and Michael: great-grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Chasity, Quintin, Victoria, Marsha, Jenna, Tamara and several great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Dillinger and a great-grandson, Jamie Dillinger.
