Lamar, SC - Betty Moore Fields, 57, passed away on June 25, 2020.

A graveside service will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Newman Swamp Cemetery in Lamar, SC.  Observing social distancing, the family will speak to those attending after the service.  A drop-in visitation will be Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Mrs. Fields was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Elbert James and Mildred Heyward Moore.  She was the owner of a House Cleaning service.

Surviving are her husband, Dencil Fields; son, Bradley Joe Fields; brother, Troy M. Moore; sisters, Patricia Ammons, Teresa Goodman, Gracie Bullard and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Deannie Fields, three brothers, Kenneth and Robert Moore, Kenneth Heyward and four sisters, Margie Moore, Sadie Register, Alice Carroll and Diane Hoffman.
