Florence, SC – Betty Lee Bass, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

A family graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. at Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Cemetery, Monday, October 11, 2021.  The family will have a drop-in visitation Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the home of her son, Steve Bass, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  The family requests that you wear a mask if attending.

Betty was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Cullie and Elma Lee.

She was a member of Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church.  She was a Clerk at Dixon Drug Company for many years before it closed.  Betty loved flowers, working in her flower garden, her home, family and her grandchildren.

Betty was married to the late William J. "Bill" Bass.

Surviving are three sons, Rick (Marie) Bass, Steve (Rebecca) Bass, Bryan (Melissa) Bass; brother, Sherwood Lee; two sisters, Annie Ruth Ward, Rachel Mays; 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Lee and a granddaughter.
