Elizabeth "Beth" Waldrop Howell, 74 moved to her heavenly home on Saturday evening, March 9, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak with those attending after the service.

Beth was born in Florence County to the late John Wesley and Mae Rogers Waldrop.  She was a member of Timmonsville First Baptist Church.  Beth was the church organist for many years and also served for more than  20 years as the Church secretary.  She was a familiar face as a friend and bank teller for South Carolina National Bank, Pee Dee State Bank, Centura Bank and finally retired from The Citizens Bank.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Carlton Howell; son, Carlton Wesley (Mandy) Howell; brother, Richard O'Neal Waldrop; sister, Linda Stokes and the light of her eye a grandson name Caleb Wesley Howell. She is preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Cox, brothers, Buddy Waldrop, Albert Waldrop.
