Bentley Anderson Jordan, 13, a beloved son, passed away on Monday, November 17th, 2025. He was born on Wednesday, July 18th, 2012, in Florence, SC.

Teens are a special breed. They're inquisitive, impulsive, fun, funny, smart, thirsty to learn. Our teen was all of those things, but so much more. He was courteous, a trait almost lost in today's world. He loved his friends, included the outsider, and lived his life with kindness to everyone he met. But so much more important than any of these things, he knew and loved Jesus, and was not ashamed to say it and live it.

Bentley was loved by so many and adored by his family. His life made all of ours so much better. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Andy Jordan; mother, Tearra Galloway Jordan; paternal grandparents, Harrel and Betty Jordan; maternal grandparents, Tracy and Glenda Galloway; great-grandfather, Don Carlisle; paternal aunt and uncle, Crystal and Chad Hulsey; maternal uncle, Donnie Galloway; maternal great aunt and uncle, Suzanne and Jason Rowe; cousins, Anderson and Georgianna Hulsey.

A funeral service in honor of Bentley will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Lake Swamp Baptist Church. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
